only second, or perhaps, on par with languages.

(Why do people crouch when they take group photo? Very hard for me to tahan leh, lol)

Two weeks back, i went to a VJC choir concert to support my friend. As you guys might know, VJC's choir is very accomplished. What's more, my friend got into VJC through choir. She went through auditions and auditions. She is so good that choir members from MJC know about her because she always perform solo. And yes, she's been classically trained since young. Do not be falsely led to believe that she solely relied on her voice to get into VJC. Her grades are really good too.

Anyway, as I watched her performed, I realised what a strong and determined girl she is. She hardly lets anything daunt her and she always move towards her goals, which are highly set if you still can't tell. She may be damn bitchy and bimbotic but people still can't help but to admire her. At least, i do.

And the more i think about it, the more i realised how talented my friends (music friends, to be exact) are. Some might be lazy but they have the talent. Others are hardworking and passionate. Me? Neither here and there. I'm just living life as it is. Which is really sad ): Watch the video below. That's one of my friends. ):

I miss music classes. So many epic moments - with CLUDIA CHEN MORON as the main lead, of course. I miss being forced to listen to listen and analyze musical pieces. Now that no one is pushing me to listen to classical music, i dont anymore. Its such a waste because besides language, i think that classical music is one of the world's best invention. Imagine people in the past whom are able to compose complicated pieces in just a few months. Their whole lives are dedicated to music and they lived for music. I might love pop music/rock music/any genre, but at the end of the day, classical music is TRUE music. No other music can be better than them. They are so wonderfully beautiful (:

There was once where formspring asked which historical period would i want to go to. I didnt answer cause i did not know but now, i want to go back to the Romantic Period. Meet Chopin, my fave composer ever, and Beethoven (:

Xiuwen also once asked what form of arts do i appreciate the most. And i replied classical music. I cant think of any reason why people would dislike classical music. The harmonies, the emotions, the richness of the instruments, the climax and the fall, the accomplished performer... Even though i dont excel at it, i think every part of classical music is breathtaking (:

My favourite video to show when people ask why classical music is great.

Are her hands made up of bones or fluid? They are so flexible and flowly and its amazing how her hands doesnt get tired or cramped out playing at such a fast speed for a long time. Its like a machine. And she must have eagle's eyes. Or else how could she aimed for the correct keys so quickly? No matter if you like classical music or not, anyone would be in awe after watching the video above.

And random pictures to end this post~

:DDD
