what i've been up to

I finally changed my desktop wallpaper!! I've been staring at Hongki's face for months and months and months and today i found a really good wallpaper to replace Hongki. But at the end of the day, Hongki is still number 1 laaaa :D






She always has a way to make me laugh!

Anyway, i feel majorly accomplished now! A few days back, i went to popular and saw chinese books with pretty girls on the covers. Aiya, i wanted to take picture to let you see what i mean but my photobooth is fked up lor! Its stuck and now everytime i take picture, the result will always be this:

Its me in the picture la. I tried to take pictures but nothing changed. Last time also like this, but after a few minutes it reverted back to normal.

Anyway, i see the pretty girls until very shiok. I dug up many books and kept comparing which girl is prettier. I ended up with around 6 books. I didnt want to buy 6 books (lol, i want to buy the books because i see the girls very pretty) because what if i give up reading it halfway?! Wouldnt it be a waste? That time Felicia lent me her chinese book... took me a humongous effort to finish :/. So i read the synopsis (due to my poor command of mandarin, i took a long time to understand the synopsis) and decided on one book.

AND I TOOK 3 DAYS TO COMPLETE IT!
Even though its quite thin but you must understand that my chinese is really bad. I dont even know what are the character's names (cause the words too difficult for me :P). Plus, the book is in fan ti zi leh! All in all, the book is not bad... except that i didnt like the ending. So cheesy sia. But it only costs $2.50 so quite worth it. I might go back to popular to grab some more of these books (eh, some books includes a card/bookmark with the girl on it. Mad chio ok?!).

So happy with myself. When i was younger, i visited the library every 3 weeks and i would always go home with at least 8 english books. My mother always yell at me because i never borrow chinese book at all. And now, im reading chinese books w/o anyone asking me to.

Erm, i just realised that i make the books sound like some kind of porn. IT IS NOT! I dont know how to explain... sometimes on mrt, i see people reading chinese books and the cover will have a drawing of a pretty girl. The girl on my book is so pretty that i could prolly stare at it without ever getting sick of it. Aiya, when my photobooth is healed, i will take a picture and show you ^^
