The +64 Zone Part 3: Get Drunk To Feel A Little Love

-dary.

Ok, not really. Because this is going to be a short post. However, a new website layout accompanies today's update so i suppose it makes up for all the lost awesomeness! (I seem to be very fickle minded when it comes to the layout of my blog).

Chak Tuk Chak has got to be the best place to shop in Thailand. I know that the heat is a turn off but seriously, after 2 days in Thailand, i have grown accustomed to the weather. What is perspiration when it comes to shopping? Come on girls!!

An insane amount of traffic at the market, taken by Anginn.

Try the coconut ice cream while you are there. Shaf recommended it and we went about searching for the one she had in mind but we couldnt so we just settled for a random ice cream vendor selling coconut ice cream wrapped with bread. Few hours later, we actually found the one that Shaf was talking about:

This vendor has fillings for you to choose and they served it in the coconut shell! How cool! Coconut juice and flesh are also provided.

Sorry that you cant really see the ice cream due to overexposure but feel free to delight in looking at our beautiful faces.

Besides food, there are many cute animals. Shaf and I randomly stumbled upon the pet zone yay! Btw, the reason why this post is filled with "Shaf and I" is because we decided to separate from the group and shop together. No, we did not get lost for we are brave navigators in a foreign country (haha actually no).

See the first puppy? I actually thought it was a pug until a week later someone told me it was a chihuahua hahahahha. But it doesnt matter. Thanks to the chihuahua, i am in complete adoration with pugs.

AWW HOW CUTE :'D

Back to the shopping. Much to your disappointment, i do not have much photos to show but i can honestly say that Chak Tuk Chak is an extremely cheap place to shop. You can find decent clothes and dresses for SGD$4! Can i hear a "Whut whut whut"? If you're looking for shorts, however, i would recommend Platinum Mall. Chak Tuk Chak has more vintage selection of clothing... or maybe it is just the area that i shopped in. The place is gigantic after all.

XW and i proceeded to Union Mall to shop while the rest went back to rest. If Siam Center & Siam Paragon were Singapore's Ion and Paragon; if Chak Tuk Chak was Bugis Street; if Platinum Mall was City Plaza; then Union Mall would be Far East Plaza. It much more organized than Platinum however, the prices are much steeper as well. There are a lot of good restaurants located there though! We did not get to try any unfortunately.

Went back to the hotel and the most dramatic event of the entire trip ensued - i wont bother to describe because it is so unrealistic that it was as though it was taken straight out from a drama and it would be forever imprinted in my brain so there isnt any need for me to record the moments down.

Day 4 was a lazy day. We did not do anything much. The highlight was airport shopping because EVERYTHING WAS SO FREAKING CHEAP. I really do not think i bought a lot of things from Thailand because i know that i could bought a lot more (given if i had more money) hahaha. But oh well. I love travelling. I love getting away from reality. I love how my stomach churns when i am up in the air. I love exploring new places. Perhaps one day i would try travelling alone. Perhaps.

That pretty much sums up everything. Thank you for sticking by. See you around for the next update.
