ASPIRATION CAMP
Its a camp for Down Syndrome Kids. We celebrated halloween on 31st november together just to get a feel of how the camp was going to be like. I wanted to be a Befriender really badly at first but after halloween, i refused. Taking care of DSA youths is not easy. Well, at least my youth was very tough to handle. He refused to talk to us and he likes to poke people's (and his) own butt.So, i was afraid that i would lose my mind if i became a Befriender in camp. And when they asked us what we wanted to be, i was the only person who chose to be GP o.O Well, at the end of the camp, i did regret a little. Because Befrienders got so close together plus GP had nothing to do. Seriously. I felt even more tired than the rest of the camps i've attended but i didnt even do anything in this camp. LOL. Oh well, there's always 2012 (:
Well, let's start off with the training:
It was quite ok. Except that we didnt get to play the pool games ):And then, the camp itself.
Ok, i brought my camera but didnt take any pictures because they have to moderate it. And i didnt take a lot pictures with others because... idk. HAHA.
The first day was quite tough because the campers were not used to their surroundings. Valerie's camper kept calling Matt "Bad Boy Loser" HAHAHA. Oh yeah, A talked to me!! As in he talked to me first. LOL!! But i was caught offguard so i kind of shouted at him. And after that he never talk to me anymore.
Oh man, my first real conversation (which he initiated first) with my eyecandy leh!! LOL.
Then we played a game hosted by me. Kind of scary cause there were so many people and its hard to get attention. Proceeded to some other games and then mass dance. We had "campfire" after that.
HTHT with Shuett at night. I never understood why people labelled her as "cute" until that day. She's such a nice person (: I still remember that time she said hi to me and i was like "who're you?" I like HTHT ^^
And the most imba thing happened right after all of us bathe. We were so hungry so we went to the MRT station's 7-11 to buy instant noodle (i blame it on a certain senior who ate his noodles in front of us. I swear, no instant noodles have smelled so delicious). When we reached there, there was already a huge group of people. I think about 10 - 20? Cool or what? All of us breaking out of camp and just sitting on the floor, eating. HAHA!
That night, i couldnt sleep so i ended up talking to Brenda and Jacob while the rest slept. Apparently, my jokes are NOT funny at all. They even crowned me, "Queen of Cold Jokes" ):

The next morning, we had morning exercise and mass dance. Damn nice. Our breakfast was sponsored by McDonalds (YESYESYES! Oh and last night's chicken rice was awesome. It was piping hot!). Then they set off for Museum while me and some other people stayed behind to decorate Morberly Dancing Room for Disco Night.
Oh well, at least we got to sleep (:
Timothy is a balloon master! He helped many people do the balloon flower wristband ^^ Pity i threw it away already.. Never liked balloons much.
Ehh, helped out Pearlyn for dinner and then Disco Night. I have, no doubt, earned myself a bad reputation. Now every Disco Night, people will look at me and say "Dance leh! Go dance la!" Damn paiseh sia!
Shit. That night i told people i felt tired and all of them gave me the same answer: "You will tired meh?"
!!!
But i didnt feel like dancing that night... I dont think i'll ever feel like dancing during Disco Night. Ok, maybe during FOC if the atmosphere is high enough. Otherwise, im sick of the dark room filled with smoke effects and loud music where your head cant register any thing because of the lighting effects. Seriously, macham like on drugs sia.
Ehh, the Santa began giving out presents and we retreated for the night (after cleaning the room up, of course). Oh yeah, i watched some episodes of HIMYM with Joshua, Johnson, Sherry and Brenda.
The next day was all about water games. Was feeling low that day. But i went home early.
Ok, im tired of typing so im going off!
