WHY IS IT FUN TO BE A STALKER IN FACEBOOK.
I should know this topic the best for I am one of the stalkers, muhahahahaha.
As a teenager, we have numerous amount of problems contrary to what adults believe. Friendship problems, Family problems, School problems and the best of all, Relationship problems. Now tell me, which of you do not like romantic stories? I am sure the percentage of people who dislike romance is 0.0000000000000000001%. If not, why are korean shows so highly received by the audience? They are mostly love stories, are they not?
Moving on. Humans, regardless of old, young, ugly, pretty, tall, short, slim, fat, long hair, short hair, big eyes, small eyes, hairy, no hair all crave for love. Do not tell me you have never, ever envisioned your prince charming riding a horse, with his beautiful locks swishing in tune with the horse's mane, galloping towards you and then sweeping you off your feet. Next thing you know, both of you are looking into each other's eyes deeply as you swear your love for one another and live happily ever after. The sunset will be the background and soothing melody will be played. Oooooh, Ahhhhhh...
Ok, maybe something less exaggerating but you get the point.
Everyone wishes for a happily ever after with their loved ones but in reality, there is no fairy godmother and not everyone can have their wish granted. So for those who are lucky, they get suitors and lovers. I swear, its really nice to watch their love stories bloom, or for some unfortunate cases, decompose into dust.
For example, I have a friend who professes his love to a girl in facebook. Time to time, I would drop by his wall to see if there is any new development. I can tell you that whatever stuff he posted are mainly related to the girl and its awesome to see him used all those love quotes, or words that he phrased himself just for the girl.
Isn't it just like reading a classic fairytale storybook?
By the way, I do support the guy. I really sincerely hope that he gets his happily ever after with that girl because he do deserve it.
Then there are times where other people put up statuses that seem to imply something more. There are all sorts of "short love stories" on facebook because everyone has their own love story to tell. It is extremely fascinating to find out about all these love stories and for me its like reading an online book, except it is really happening in real life.
You people might think its creepy but hey, you are the ones who posted up things like that. If you dare to post it up, then you should know that the public can see them. And I am a writer. Where else do you think my inspirations come from?
