Freshman Orientation Camp



Oh man, its been so long that i dont know where to start from! Hmm, let's start from the fact that i reaaaaaally like being a GP. Commanding the campers, running here and there and talking to other seniors/GPs is awesome. The best part? Hearing them call me "Oh My Goddess!"

Hahaha. We need to have nicknames in camp and i dont know how i came out with Oh My Goddess. Vivian's was Oh My Super Girl which is a lyric from some kpop band (cant remember). Then for some reason, Koey chose hers as Oh My Lady from SuJu's Too Perfect. And mine? Oh My Goddess from TRAX. Well actually, the lyric is "Oh My Yong Shin" but nobody understands what "Yong Shin" is (which is actually Goddess in korean) so i translated it to english. Nice song eh!

So yeah, that's how we formed the Oh My Family
Anyway, imagine many people kneeling down and call you "Oh My Goddess!" SHIOK OR WHAT?

Er, i cant say many things about the camp because im not supposed to but...
SORRY YIJIA! I FELL ASLEEP!!
It was already 4 plus and i was damn tired. So while sitting down, i closed my eyes to rest. Little did i know, i fell into a slumber. According to Yijia, i sat up straight after awhile and looked around, dazed, before lying on the ground and sleep again. I must have been real tired cause i dont even remember that! The next thing i knew was Yijia waking me up saying "Eh the last camper gone liao"

So basically, i didnt help Yijia in the station at all )':

And and, Disco Night wasn't as high as last year's. The campers thought it was really great but that night, i had a hard time trying to get people to dance. Srsly, i didnt want to dance. I just want to sleep. But seeing no one - except for seniors - were dancing, i began to jump around, pulling people like a mad woman. I tried so hard to bring the atmosphere up but in the end, half of the room was empty. All went out. Last year, it was so packed that there were 4 circles on the dance floor ok? )':

Oh well. At least the campers enjoyed themselves. That's all that matters(:

And then break camp and we had a really long debrief. But got pizza! Lol. Junchai sponsored (Y) Then went to Just Acia to eat dinner and bond with campers.


When we reached Just Acia, it was soooo noisy! Cant blame us. We didnt talk to the GLs for such a long time leh!! All the gossips cannot be spread within the gossip club during camp lor!! And camps always have many gossips de! So after all the yakking amongst ourselves, i went to see the campers.

AND I FOUND THE CHIPMUNKS!!
The three of them were sitting together and i swear they look like hamsters! Animatedly, i shouted "chipmunks! chipmunks! Alvin, Theodore and Cleo!!!" (was the last name Cleo? Cant remember). It was all a joke but the nickname stuck. Everyone now calls them The Chipmunks. I invented them ok? So proud of myself ^^

Then there's also the cousin of The Chipmunks because he's the 4th member, lolz.
So yeah. That's basically the highlights of FOC.

Freshman Orientation Weekend



I was a Mummy for FOW. I was really glad that im a Mummy for FOW and not FOC. When they announced the GLs for FOC and i wasnt in it, i was kind of disappointed because i really wanted to be one. But luckily i was not!! I couldnt imagine myself going through all the trainings and stress X.x Anyway, i wanted to be a GL because you bond with the campers easily and i like getting to know new people. So, being a Mummy for FOW was perfect for me. Only one day. Can make new friends but no need suffer as much as FOC!!

My group's name is Veneno but i bet no one remember our name except for ourselves. LOL! But its ok because we proved to be the best group!! I mean, which other group went down the water after the event???? I was so proud when the whole family held hands and ran towards the sea. We were the last one to leave the beach. Somemore, we also have a fb page and we're planning to have an outing soon!! The only other group i know has a fb page is Jingjing's group. And up to now, i dont think any FOW group is planning an outing. VENENO ZAI!!




However, they werent always so zai la. Their energy level always go down once they take a break. During the bus ride, nobody spoke a word except for CJ. And the GLs were trying to so hard to keep the mood up. Then our cheer also cui. Other groups figured theirs quickly but we took a real long time. And after all that, we couldnt even recite our cheer properly as a group *faints.

But during the games, i had so much fun with them! The first station kena water bombed. The second station, we kena muaji. And from that station onwards, we always rush to the sea at the end of every station. SIBEH SHIOK!!


Then, we went to have a break a pavillion... and Veneno's energy immediately dissipate. Sherry even came up to me and ask "Is Veneno ok?" during the first versus game after the break. Timothy and I kept on cheering but they just sian sian. So upsetting leh! I can only imagine how the GLs from FOC felt... 3 days worth of this. Luckily, they got back on their feet on the second game.

I heart Veneno :D

The second game damn fun!! I spin until so giddy that i fell sideways. Its like my vision is slanted and no matter how much i try to balance, i will definitely fall. So funny and embarrassing at the same time! :P So yeah, everything went uphill after that. CJ even baked a cake for Amanda cause its her bday. SO SWEET :') My son... My daughter... sobs... incest... HAHAHA!

Dinner @ Macs. Had a great time gossiping! Especially with Anthony. He is srsly proving himself to be my son! Gossip King ah :P
Heehee and all the schemes that happened that night.. ^^


Social Gathering

I didnt know how to go ECP but i managed to went there on my own! So clever, heehee! But the bus ride damn long. I think 30 - 45 minutes. Then the walking another 30 mins i think. I bought caramel milk tea on the way. Buy large get medium free. It was really nice and worth it but in the end, i gave the large one to KH cause i was really full from drinking.

And hor, bbq pit 27 and bbq 28 are super duper mega ultra far from each other!!! When i reached pit 27, i thought to myself "ohmygod!! im reaching soon!" BUT NO! The walk was never ending. I almost wanted to hitch a ride from one of the bikers, lol.

Didnt talk much to the campers because most of them went cycling. So gossip session with the girls lor. And special mention to M cause he cooked many things for us even though he is a participant. Especially my stingray, hahahaha :D

Too bad i couldnt stay over so that's everything!


Oh yeah, i also want to mention Glenda (because she mentioned me in her blog).


I was never close to her before FOC. Got talk to her la, but superficial only. Then suddenly during camp, while i was in the same station as her, she started to call me and Koey her "bimbo juniors". And ever since then, we've been pretty close, i guess? HAHAHAHA Call me pretty seh!

So yup, that's all. CYA~

remember that i love you!

I was being random today. So i suddenly announced to Tanya that i want to call my friends and tell them that i love them. Carmen, upon hearing what i said, also did it. I called XY and SH ^^
Actually, not very random la. Cause many things happened these weeks that make me really realise how unpredictable life is. I dont want to die/people to die without knowing that i love them :D And its fun too! Must do this kind of random things more often so that my friends know how much i appreciate them <3

After that was DTVM party. Raseena tried to film me dancing crazily but it failed... because i spotted where she tried to hide her camera. Damn funny sia!






Didnt really get to know much about juniors... Can only remember 3 names :P And while playing whacko, i totally had a bimbo moment. I only remember 2 names "king" and "gillian". So when someone called my name i shouted, "king" and everyone laughed. I realised that the whacko is "king" himself. Mega fail, can? And i dont know if his name is really king... i pronounced it as king and everyone understood. Hmm..

And i've started watching Secrets For Sale. Not bad (: And because of the show, i got addicted to the theme song... which is also by Anthony Neely ^^


And Kiss And Tell has been replaying in my head for the entire day!

I've been really busy the past few days. I dont even know what im busy with! I saved many post in my drafts because they're not yet finished... I wanted to post it but there are too many things going on right now.

Im not a news person so i didnt know Prince William was getting married until a few days ago. XY told me his fiance is from his university. Hearing this, i went awww. Cause it reminded me of Lee Kwan Yew's love story with his wife that XX told me about. So pure, impulsive and romantic!

But...
Xiuwen destroyed that image when she told me that Prince William first saw Kate Middleton at his university... where Kate was modelling in black underwear and thought she was hot.

I watched quite a few Wong Fu Productions' videos today. From what i know (or think), they're a bunch of freelancers doing film production. All scripts and videos listed on their website are written/filmed by themselves which i think is damn cool! They also worked with Nigahiga quite a few times too :D

I thought they had quite a variety of ways (occupational hazard much) they've used in Strangers, again. If you haven't watch it, go my fb profile to see cause im too lazy to find the video and embed it here. The script was good too.

I really like film production... The many ways you can shoot, the different kind of style etc etc. I came into DTVM because i love to write... but now im leaning towards the film side. Man, i hope i can survive next sem. Journalism... oh God...

BTW, YOU KNOW THE "SECRET MISSION" THAT I'VE MENTIONED QUITE A FEW TIMES? (If you dont know, why didnt you pay attention in the first place huh?) ITS OFFICIALLY OVER!! OMG, IM SO EXCITED TO BLOG ABOUT IT THAT IM WRITING THIS IN CAPS. BUT NO, I CANT BLOG ABOUT IT NOW BECAUSE.. WELL YOU'LL KNOW!

NOTW #1

It looks ok but it really sucks! I know im always saying this but i swear, its like the worst design i ever painted on my nails ): Especially my right hand. Why would i ever match green and purple together??

Anyway, i will be doing NOTW (nails of the week) from now onwards so look forward to it! And if you have nice and SIMPLE designs, please inform me about it~

In class now, drifting off somewhere in the cyber space...
Quite a number of things happened today already even though the day is not yet over.

1. I brought my USB cable instead of my handphone charger.
Threw me into a huge frenzy when my handphone went dead and i had to contact my friend.

2. I forgot to bring THE book.
Hence, the meeting was cancelled.

3. I got Steven Chia as my lecturer.
For those who dont know, he's this news reporter from CNA. What a shocker because we were speculating who would be our lecturer for our next class during lunch. Everyone said Waileng and so that was what i expected. Heck, when i saw it was a man and not a woman in the room before entering, i hesitated.

But of course, i did not realise who he was when i enter the room. My priority was to look for a seat because the front 2 rows (which is where i usually sit) are taken. And when i finally sat down and took a good look at the lecturer, i asked Tanya, "Ehh, he looks familiar."

And lo behold. It finally dawned upon me he's Steven Chia (if you still dont know him at this point of time, just google la).

The guy whom i faced everyday in the morning on the mobile tv while taking the bus to school during my sec 3 - 4 years.
The guy whom i actually listen the news he reports because i like him with Suzanne (cant remember full name) reporting together.

I was so elated that i declared that i will listen to his classes therefore after. But 15 minutes later, im half way zoned out and now im typing this as he is yakking away.

Sorry, short attention span. *shrugs.

Anyway, i was reading Adam Couple's formspring and i decided to join formspring. I dont think anyone will ask me questions - well, beside formspring itself, but that wasn't the primary reason why i joined. I created an account so that i can follow (coughstalkcough) and read INTERESTING people's Q&A. So, if there's any question you wanna ask me but dont want to ask on my tagboard which is really weird cause you can put yourself as anonymous but its really ok because i think i might delete my tagboard since its spammed with weird tags -____-, here you go...

The show quite nice leh! I watched 10 episodes in a day. Quite a feat for a fickle person like me! Sleep? Watch? Sleep? Watch? I shall flip coin later! ^^

I dont understand why people dont like kpop. Some people think its meaningless but i feel that some songs have deep meanings and most of the songs are catchy!!

Like the new album U-Kiss released. I never noticed them in the past but ever since they replaced some of the members, i realised their songs are damn nice! (Y) I think ALL of the songs in the new albums are awesoooooome - which is surprising cause i dont like ALL of FT island/ Big Bang's songs in a single album.



And speaking of Big Bang, i knew that they released their mini album a few months ago but i never had the time to "research" on it. When i heard it 2 days ago, i fell in love with the song Love Song. Ahhh, so nice!!



AND I DISCOVERED A NEW BAND CALLED THE BOSS!


Ehh, their style is super similar to DBSK. Im not a fan of DBSK but even i notice it from the start. But then, who cares? Cause Karam is so handsome (or should i say pretty?)!! He looks like a doll, im not even kidding! Fan girl again *_*

I dont really believe in the 11.11 craze but since tomorrow is a brand new school day, why not? Figured that i need all the luck i need now that im going back to school.

Last but not least, im anticipating f(x)'s new album. I only like 2 of their songs but there's been so much hype on the net. Shall see how this album turns out (:
