You never know how much you want it, until you miss the opportunity to own it.

Im drowning in regrets - which is a rare thing cause i seldom do. But this time round, 90% of my regrets are all because of you. Seriously... we're so ill-fated that i find it ridiculous. How could any two person be so unlucky with one another? Or should i say im the only unfortunate one? I try and try and try but the end result is always the same.

I give up already.

lucid dreaming

While waiting for Mr Fred to finish talking to the "first batch", im here to camwhore and blog. Rebekah said wavy hair looks better on me so im gonna give up on having straight hair :D Besides, having wavy hair gives me an excuse for having frizzy hair, hohoho!

Have you ever heard of lucid dreaming? Its where you can CONTROL your dreams. I first read it on tumblr. They even give instructions so that you can achieve lucid dreams. At first i was skeptical until i read the comments where there are people who've experienced it.

And a few weeks ago, i had my first experience.

I did not follow the instructions. In fact, i had no idea i was having a lucid dream until i woke up. What happened was, i saw myself lying on my bed, straight. I was alone and you know how sometimes your mind overwork itself? Well, i try not to think of pontianaks but thanks to reverse psychology, i imagined one right beside my bed.

I have to stress that all these happened when i thought i WAS NOT dreaming. In reality there's no ghosts and such right? So i told myself that the pontianak standing next to me was just my imagination... until i heard someone screamed, "Save me! Siqi, save me!!"

That's when i realised the pontianak beside me was real. Obviously i would try to run away. But somehow, my entire body was paralysed. I forced my head to turn from left to right. I barely succeeded. I began to panic (natural reaction since there's a ghost next to you and you cant even move). And then, my eyes started rolling around as though i was going to be possessed.

I was so afraid and my eyes hurt from rolling around. I commanded my hands to press on my eyes so that the eyeballs would stop turning. It didnt work. And i was about to have a panic attack - i could hardly breathe and my body was paralysed.

And then, i woke up.
In the same position in my dream.
That's when i realised that i was dreaming.
And that's also when i realised i had a lucid dream. Because i could command my head and hands to move the way i wanted to.

Wah, so long never put my self-camwhore shots! Miss my face or not??? XP

Somewhere around March, my friend told me that he was scouted by a modelling agency while walking around Bugis. Out of shock, he gave the person his handphone number and ever since then, the person has been pestering him to join the agency. Made us laugh non-stop.

A few weeks later, the same thing happened to me in Bugis too. Being smart, i changed the last digit of my handphone number.

A few months later, while walking home, i kena again. The same agency some more. Obviously i gave a fake number. I have no idea where i threw the name cards.

Today, you've guessed it, i was once again asked. It is a different agency this time round. Even before she told me she's from a modelling agency, i already knew - who else would tapped you from the back when they dont even know you?? Im so used to these situations that i told her my fake number without hesitation.

Seriously ridiculous -_____-

I mean, why are they even scouting models on the streets? Who would fall for such a thing? I wouldnt say they are scaming because most of them ARE registered companies. Just that you need to pay for the portfolios but at the end of the day, you cant even earn back that money.

Anyway, im currently watching Running Man. I termed it as the 2nd "Family Outing" BECAUSE ITS AS FUNNY AS FO!!
Oh man, laughing until i cry; until i fell from my chair... those were the days. So sad that FO is over. Its the one show that got me addicted to variety/reality tv show. sobxzxz )':

I think i spammed 3 - 4 episodes today. I love staying at home, watching my favourite shows. Ahhhh....

omg, im dead shit. My mom scolded me because she couldnt close the drawer due to my overflowing clothes. And she still do not know that i bought another 3 more clothings X.X

She said that i have many clothes which i did not believe until she showed me a bagful of NEVER-BEEN-WORE clothes hidden behind the door which she has not wash. She has not wash them because there's no space in my drawer. And so, i went to check on the clothes behind the doors.

There were about 5 clothings stashed in the bag. I almost forgotten that i've bought them!!! Its a vicious cycle. I buy new clothes -> no space to put so my mom put it behind the door -> I keep thinking "Why i always wear the same clothes? Why no new clothes?" -> buy new clothings -> back to the beginning.

And i realised most of my clothes are the same. The cutting and colour remain; only the design changes. Oh man, why must there be so many pretty clothes in the world??? Hais. I secretly put my newly bought clothings into the bagful of clothes... Im hoping that because there's so many clothes inside the bag, my mom wouldnt notice that i bought new ones... :D

Ok, so here's my shopping list:

• Red cardigan (I really want it!! Especially after seeing Yannick's look. Ok, he did not wear a red cardigan but it inspired me to get one.)
• 3/4 light demin. I walked the entire FEP/Bugis and i still cant find it!! Just because its out of fashion doesnt mean there's isnt anyone who wants it ):
• That cupcake/collar/rocking horse shirt
• Fur hairband
• Studded headband
• Black dress
• Grey ripped jeans
• Ribbon headband
• Vintage bag
• Big white flower hair pin
  

Oh yeah!! I just created a twitter account. I seriously dont know what im gonna do with it. Its only been 2 days and im already bored. Im currently juggling between tumblr/facebook/blogs/lookbook/twitter.

Heck, i dont even remember when was the last time i check my lookbook (unlike Pearl who is regularly updating). Sian.

to sum it up

EP CA2. We've spent quite a lot of effort on it since professionals came in and assessed us. Look at those brochures we've made!! So nice lor :') Even though the professionals really critiqued us strictly, i didnt feel sad at all. Im really happy to have this experience and i've gained alot.

Especially a cute new acquaintance named A ;)

Kind of sad that for VPPP CA10 we're separated. I think we make a great group, complementing one another. Raseena to lead us, Anginn to produce creative ideas, Rebekah as a great presenter and Pearl to check on our English.

I hope our group will get an A as like the previous times we worked together (:








Amazing Race.
Our last time together planning an event. I know many people put in tons of effort for this event. The planning period lasted about 2 - 3 months. And i think it was quite successful. Compared to our first event (Games Day), it went more smoothly. During Games Day, there were like 10000 phone calls here and there. So im glad that we've improved (:

OH YEAH! Throughout the entire race, Lao Da called me Hagrid because my hair was totally messy ): He has been calling me that since last week.

I think i cried during this scene because GaIn cried. No matter what Jokwon did for her, no matter how romantic it was, she never show an ounce of being touched (she said that she finds it hard to express her feelings). But seeing her cry in the episode made me cry too.

Princess Prosecutor, Mary Stayed Out All Night and Pushing Daises

1. Princess Prosecutor.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SHOW!
Usually i have high standards for kdrama because i've watched so many already. My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho was ranted and raved to death by netizens but i only found it above average. Same goes for Cinderella's Sister. So many people LOVE that show but i gave up watching halfway :/

Besides, Princess Prosecutor features nice heels. Who wouldnt love it?


"Grace Kelly"... Turns out to be from Jimmy Choo ;)


Plus there is always this mystery because this guy just randomly appeared and wants to be friends with Hyeri. He claims he is in love with her but i know there was more to the eye which got me hooked.

This is easily the 2nd best show i've watched in 2010 (obviously the first goes to Baker King, hands down).

Oh ya! The theme song for the show is Fly High by SHINee and you know how kdramas love to play their songs over and over again. While watching the show, Nina kept saying "Aiyo! Every 5 minutes fly high~ fly high~ so irritating!"

LOL.

And while i was typing SHINee, i couldnt figure the correct way to type it. My typings vary from shiNnee to shiNee to shinEE. In the end i went to google, hahaha. Am not a SHINee fan.

2. Mary Stayed Out All Night



I am still watching this show though i feel like giving up. I dont even know what im watching for. Sure, there are eye candies in this show (Jang Guen Suk!! Why you look so good in every show? And Moon Geun Young has such cute eyes! Kim Jae Wook looks decent too) but eye candies alone cannot sustain a show. I cant relate to the characters (DTVM is haunting me now) and they have like no goals??? And viewing your father as a god is ridiculous =.=' who would view their father as a god???

I only watched the show because of Jang Guen Suk, Moon Geun Young and because my friend raved it on facebook. However, i have to say its not up to my expectations. Also, I read that the writer wrote until episode 10 and dropped out cause of the low ratings. Episode 11 onwards were written by another person. Maybe i'll watch until episode 12 and then see if i want to continue...? But only if i have the time.

They do have good soundtracks though! I even used one of their song for VPPP and Mr Fred said it was good and appropriate XP

3. Pushing Daises

I've completed season 1!! And now im on season 2, hurray! But im getting kind of bored. I found myself fast forwarding some of the scenes ): I found out why i cant watch American shows for long - because their shows are episodic which is unlike Kdrama. I like shows that i can finish quickly for good. With American shows, you never know because there might be more and more seasons. I dont have the stamina.

I really like Pushing Daises because of their unusual mysteries and their quirky way of shooting the show. Its a refreshing take but like i said, i lose interest easily. But i think i can survive for the rest of the episodes since there are only 2 season (:

4. Breakout

I hate the ending.
Everyone dies -_____-
They had such great premise and characters but most of them died in the end. Might as well dont watch.

And that pretty much sums up everything that i've done since holidays till now!
