We went grocery shopping for Yuwen :D Then we went to her house.
Oh man, i remembered the other time we went her house. It was pouring so hard, the wind was blowing relentlessly. Our LG totally experienced a blizzard, haha.

WEDNESDAY:

Went out with Welfare to catch Green Lantern. Its been such a loooooong time since i met up with them that i totally forgot how it was like to hang out with them.

They couldnt really tell my hair was dyed until i stepped out into the sunlight heehee. Which reminds me, dont ever dye purple unless you love the colour! Because whenever i wash my hair, i see purple foam and water. It will only stop once there's no more dye in my hair i guess. My towel is now covered with purple streaks haha. It can be washed but its troublesome la. But i love my hair colour ttm so i dont mind (:

Anyway, Green Lantern was so-so only. I forgot to bring my jacket so being smart, i drank all my coke during the commercial. Then halfway through, i needed to pee so badly. I thought i could hold it in so i squirmed around in my seat. Eventually, i ran to the toilet. Reminds me of The Last Airbender. I held it in until i really couldnt take it anymore. And when i got out of the toilet, the show ended =.=

And Blake Lively looks hotter in brunette! In Gossip Girl, i never thought of her as beautiful/hot. Because she looks so old can? But in Green Lantern, she is like damn beautiful. Her lips are very pretty lor ):

FRIDAY:

Was invited as a guest to my aunt's university alumni thingy. I didnt know it was an alumni because i just saw the words "free dinner" so i went. HAHAHAHA :/ It was at some atas hotel. So i went in and saw people in dresses... and me in jeans.

Then some more, my aunt's friends weren't there. So we stood there awkwardly while others were in circles chatting happily. So paisei lol. We pretended to be looking for someone, hahaha. After 15 minutes of standing and eating potato chips and desserts, we decided to go.

Yes, there wasn't dinner provided. Only cocktail reception. When we walked out, we finally met one of my aunt's friend. It was kind of awkward for me. I mean these people are smart. They are sponsored with scholarships to go Australia to study maths/science. And i never knew how to act in such high-class events. I was afraid that i said something stupid so i just introduced myself and pretended to be drowned in my thoughts haha.

So after awhile, me and my aunt went off to eat at a Japanese restaurant. (Y)

I shall abruptly end here and soon begin on my assignments. Sighs.

My holidays have been spent on going out, relaxing and watching tv shows. The only close to productive thing i did was to write a story. Its been a long time since i wrote for myself. Ironic. I joined this course to write but i end up writing because of assignments, not because i want to.

Im almost completing the story. I spent 3 - 4 days writing it and i sacrificed my time to watch shows. It feels good to be passionate about writing again (:

My friends always say i over react. I still remembered once during secondary school, i screamed when i knocked my bottle down. =.= Another example would be like, if i see many customers, i would speed up and my colleague will say, "Its ok. Relax." This happened like dont know how many times lor.

I guess i appear to be in a mess whenever a situation arises?
Maybe, but when it comes to really huge crisis, i dont even react.

When i was 8, my grandfather died. He was really close to me. Though i knew he was sick, i didnt know he was going to die so soon. I was in childcare when my mother called me. She was crying as she announced the news. I just said ok, went back to the room to wait for my granduncle to fetch me. When other children asked me what happened, i just told them matter-of-factly that my grandfather died. Then, my granduncle came to pick me up. The person-in-charge asked me what illness my grandfather has so i replied blood (or was it bone?) cancer. Throughout the car ride, i was happy. I kept pointing out the directions to my granduncle and smiled whenever he praised me. When i reached the funeral, i didnt even cry. I ate dinner, did my homework. I only cried when i see my dead grandfather's face.

When i was 9, my father got into an accident. I was home alone when suddenly my father walked in when he was supposed to go to work. He sat on the sofa. There was blood. He told me he got into a motorbike incident. There were injuries on his arm. He told me to help him remove his shirt because his arms hurt. And so i went over and did what he asked. I never cried.

I cant remember how old i was but my mother had a bad headache. It wasnt those kind of headaches where you can sleep it off. It was so bad that she would hit her head against the wall. This went on a few days even though she consulted a doctor. One day in school, my teacher told me my father was here to fetch me home. It was still early. My father that my mother wanted me back home because she felt like she could die from the pain any moment. When i reached home, i saw her hair was covered with white powder. I guess she attempted every way to stop the pain. Obviously, it didnt help. I think i got worried but that's it. I didnt do anything else besides watching her. In the end, she went to the hospital to get an injection to stop the pain.

And just now, my father called me. He said he's in the hospital. I should be worried; screaming questions at him; at least gasp. My response?

"OK. Then?"

He asked me to tell my mother.

"Ok. Anything else?"

He tell me to tell her not to worry and that he will be home late.

"Ok. Anything else?"

"No."

"Which hospital are you at?"

"... I dont know."

From his answer, i inferred that he got into a car accident, blacked out and thus didnt know which hospital he's in. But i just said,

"Ok. Bye."

And then i went to tell my mother who was sleeping. She began to ask many questions like why is he in the hospital? Is he sick? What happened? over and over again. I swear, she asked these questions like 10 times. I told her i dont know because i really dont know what happened! Then she asked why i never ask my father what happened. So i said, he didnt tell me. Its true what. When i asked him if there's anything else he wants me to tell my mother, he said no. But she continued anyway and i got so fed up that i stopped answering her.

I also dont know why im like this. Its like i think everything is going to be fine.

2nd meetup

SATURDAY (after dying hair):

Went to Seoul Garden to meet up with primary school friends! It was supposedly a 6H gathering but in the end only 7 turned up. The organizer also ditched us ):


We sat opposite the guys because there werent any tables left. But when the table beside theirs is cleared, we moved over.

And the Chendol Incident. Sham damn funny sia! He went to take chendol without shaved ice. And it was so full that it was impossible not to spill it! After we told him he need ice, he go take ice cubes instead of shaved ice. HAHAHAHA! That guy ah, still as blur and as easy to bully as ever!

I have to say that the guys have all grown up! Last time even more childish. It was fun to catch up. Surprisingly no awkwardness! I think its because last year we met up once alr. That time was super awkward lor, i hardly talked to anyone. Haha (:

When i washed my hair, i see all the purple coming out. Bright purple foam some more. Makes me wanna dye my hair again because i scared all the colour fade then my hair goes back to black again ): Being paranoid la.

I wanted more of a indigo-purple rather than a violet-purple. But i think they only have violet so yeah. And it looks super natural. In fact, i cant tell that i dyed my hair under normal lighting. Even my parents didnt notice until 1 hour later, LOL.

But it looks violet under strong lightings (flash makes it looks red!):D
I only wished that this was my 3rd time dying my hair or something so the result will be lighter. But thanks to my naturally dark hair, its not very obvious under normal lighting even though i chose the lightest shade that doesnt need any bleaching done ):

While doing my hair, another lady customer was dying her hair too. She wanted 2 different colours on her hair. So while dying the first colour, she saw my purple hair and mouthed the word, "nice" to me. Then she decided to have purple as her second colour. And i asked the hair stylist if a lot of people dye their hair purple. She said yes, especially recently.

There. I knew that purple hair is the new red! >:D

Me and Sihui did our hair at HairyCulture (Far East Plaza, #04-100).
I know the name sounds fishy. I was wary too but cant resist the cheap price ah! They are having a promotion now so its $58 for cut and colour. Add extra $10 if you have extremely long hair. Not sure when the promotion ends though.

I have to say they did a really good job. Comparable to Supercuts, which is like my fave salon to go to ever. If Supercuts didnt charge me so expensive, i would have went there lor. I usually go there to cut my hair for $20 (student price) and the results never failed to disappoint me. Some more they dont try to sell their products. In fact, they dont even ask. I hate sales people who keep pushing me to buy their products relentlessly =.= ♥ Supercuts forever and ever.

Anyway, if you dont want to spend too much money like me, can try HairyCulture :D
I might go back there to dye my hair again but need to check their normal pricing first ^^

Random updates from last week:

I cant remember when but for LG i went to eat dim sum buffet at Beijing Restaurant (lol forgot the name). Ate until very full and we shared our bucket list. 2 of mine were to swim with the sharks (ok, maybe not swim but observe them underwater in a cage?) and get tattoos. I've wanted tattoos since 16. I even thought of the 7 tattoos i want (cause 7 is my fave number). But now, i think 7 is too much la. And i changed most of the design. But i still want to get tattoos!

But i scared pain nia D:

Back to topic, after dim sum i went to shop alone because YL ditched me ): I went to Tony Moly and i saw this sales assistance which i thought looked familiar. But i didnt care much cause i only saw the side profile and i was busy trying on the nail polishes. Being clumsy, i dropped something twice. Heng never break. I decided on a chocolate colour nail polish (YAY!) and i didnt see the cashier's face because i was too busy digging my notes out of my super small bag. Then suddenly the person said, "Siqi."

LOL. Turns out to be Benita. Super shocked but i think i disguised my surprise quite well. Actually, i dont like to see people whom i've never seen for a long time because its weird and awkward lor. But ok la, Benita still the same hahahahaha. I think she gave me a look that says, "Siqi, as blur as ever" cause i forgot to take my purchase after getting back my change. LOL.

Btw, Tony Moly's nail polishes are quite good. Although its a little more ex than faceshop, i think its worth it because the quality and the consistency is a lot better (:
